Sometimes we get them, sometimes we don&#039;t, we really kick ourselves when we don&#039;t put Carver down because we think it will be too difficult. long and miserable to get him to sleep...about 3pm WE are ready to run away from home. 		<description>Lucky for us, Samantha still naps like a champ at lunch time.  She gets about 10 hours of sleep at night, and I wake her up from her nap after two hours, to help prevent her from getting up too early in the morning.

I have a friend whose 19-month old daughter has recently stopped taking naps, much to her dismay. ;)

I think it&#039;s just another one of those things that&#039;s different for every child.  You probably can&#039;t predict when your child will stop napping, because it varies so much from child to child.
