Hi, i'm 19 weeks today with my 2nd baby! I only had my first scan three days ago and thats when they told me how far i was. I did initially work out (by the dates of my last period) that i should be about 23 weeks gone by now, so i was a little shocked when they said i was 4 and a half weeks less! I was just wondering if it's normal at 19 weeks to be able to feel the big kicks and actually see my stomach move, instead of just the little flutter movements inside? I've also read that at 19 weeks my uterus has only reached my belly button, but i can clearly see and feel the baby move above my belly button! Do you think there's any chance they could have got my dates wrong at all due to the first scan being this far on?

Hi Flovita - congratulations on your pregnancy! 10 weeks is a little early to start feeling movement. In about 6 weeks or so you might start feeling some fluttering. Many women - especially with their first pregnancies don't feel movement until closer to 20 weeks, sometimes later. Don't worry though - before you know it that baby will be dancing a jig on your organs, and you'll love it! You should be scheduled for a pre-natal visit in a few weeks, and then you'll probably be able to hear the baby's heartbeat. Good luck, and keep us posted on how you are doing!

I'm just around ten weeks pregnant, and I don't know what to expect. It's my fist pregnancy. When can I start to feel the baby kick?

Hi Emma, congrats on your little boy! I noticed with Xander that he liked to jump and dance those times of the day that I was less active - in the mornings or evenings. I guess all that movement during the day lulls them to sleep... And you are right even though the kicking and punching sometimes gets tiring, it is always reassuring that things are ok in there!

Im 23 weeks with my little boy and Im sure hes goin to be a little boxer or play for Everton from the way he loves to kick and punch me. Ive noticed that he really goues for it 1st thing of a morning and then when Im going to sleep (trying to sleep). Feeling him kicking and punching me is worth it just to know that my little boy is ok in there. my little girl loves to watch her baby bro kickin me she thinks its so funny x

Good luck everyone xx

Dear Audrey,I guess its your first pregnancy because it used to happen that we do not recognise the baby's movement in our first time. But don't worry,a time will come very soon when you can no longer mistake the kicks as you are already 20 weeks pregnant.sometimes the movement will feel like a beating(thats when doctors say the baby is hiccuping!!!??).Anyway, wish you all the best and take care..

I just wanted to know when I will feel it harder inside of me...I can barely feel the baby move now but I am 20 weeks. When does the baby start moving where I can really feel it?
