Week 13 – Showing already!

March 21, 2006

Fetus - 13 weeksI can’t believe my stomach has already started to pop out. “Pop out” is the correct term as far as I can tell because last week my stomach seemed to have it’s normal amount of roundness that I was able to hide pretty well. This week just about everyone in my office has commented on my newly round surface. I’m just not ready to be this round. From everything I had read, and everything everyone told me, I didn’t expect to seriously start showing until about the 5th month. I haven’t even reached the 4th month yet and already I’m running out of clothes to wear! One woman in my office suggested that perhaps I was having twins. I told her that was not funny and not to even joke about that.

Though everyone at work has insisted that my stomach is significantly bigger, my husband refuses to tell me that I am getting bigger. He recently informed me that even when I’m seven months pregnant he won’t tell me that I’ve gotten any bigger, because in his mind, any answer he gives me is going to be wrong. I’m not really sure that this is entirely true, but I guess I’m going to have to accept that I’m not going to get an honest answer out of him about my looks for the next six months….
To add to my new dilemma, I discovered that I really need to buy some new clothes. I am ok with wearing maternity clothes, but I know that I’m really going to need maternity wear in the summer time, but since it isn’t warm enough for summer clothes yet, I’m stuck – and too cheap to buy clothes now and later. I think getting dressed for the next few weeks is going to prove to be quite challenging.

My cravings have been getting better, though I am still salivating over strawberries. Most people I talk to can’t believe that I haven’t made Zach fetch me any of my craving foods. I was kind of proud of myself that I was able to manage my cravings well enough to get my own food when I needed it.

So, I’m freaking out about my newly rounder belly, running out of clothing, and praying that my co-worker really was just joking about that whole twin thing.

baby, pregnancy, fetus, babies, maternity, craving, cravings, maternity clothes

  1. no honest answer for the next 6 months
as you know, that has made me LAUGH OUT LOUD

  2. Im 5 months now and im not shwoing yet hardly, i can tell my stomach is rounder and comin out more cus im used 2 it being flat, still wearing my old jeans but just longer tops, havent got any weird carvings either except wanting 2 have arunny eggs n chips, but you cant have runny eggs can u, gutted!

  3. This is my second child, and I’m either gaining weight like crazy or I’m wrong about how pregnant I actually am. I’ve just missed my period so I’m guessing about 4 or 5 weeks, but I’m SHOWING ALREADY. My boobs are bigger and my tummy is more than just a little bulge. It was a lil pouchy from my first baby, but I was able to hold it in, and pass for skinny again. ( I’m a size 5/6 normally ) Now in the last two weeks my stomach has been feeling bloated and the muscles are achy, and I cant really hold it in like I used to so it’s SO OBVIOUS. I’m embarrased to tell people I’m only 5 weeks! So dont feel bad.. at least you had 4 good months of privacy!

  4. Hi Maya – congrats on your 2nd baby! I know they say that with second children you seem to pop out faster, but that does seem really fast! I also know that some women continue to have their periods for several months normally while they are pregnant (I knew one woman who didn’t find out until she was 4 months along, because she had been having her period that whole time!) It sounds like maybe you’re farther along than just 5 weeks, but I’m not a doctor or by any stretch of the imagination an expert. I guess I should consider myself lucky that I had more privacy, though I was terrible about keeping the secret, so pretty much everyone knew once I did at 6 weeks… ;-)

  5. im about 7 weeks pregnant and i have the same problem. this is also my second pregnancy. but i feel huge. i look like im pushing in my 5th month. and im the type that doesnt like telling people till after the 3rd month. lets see if i make it another week with my job not knowing

  6. i am showing at 4 weeks , is it normal

  7. Hi Mia – congrats on your second baby! Do you think that maybe with second kids you grow faster at the beginning, and slow down a bit near the end for the same large end result? Or do you just grow larger for the second baby? I certainly hope that isn’t the case! How much longer do you think you’ll be able to put off telling work? That is a challenge when you want to wait until 12 weeks to tell people, and your baby wants to announce it to the world so much sooner… Good luck!

  8. Congrats to everyone:)

I am pregnant with my second baby and I am starting to think that you do show so much faster… I was thinking it was just me gaining to much, but I am showing and I am only 6 weeks. I feel stupid telling people I am only that far along too, but what can you do… I haven’t been over indulging in anything, I have been sticking to my normal diet, and exercise, and I am still showing as if I was 3-4 months pregnant. I think it’s normal and we shouldn’t worry, I just keep telling myself that it will happen eventually so why not except it and be happy:) Yeah..easier said then done, right? Anyway, good luck to you all!

  9. Hi Jana – congrats on your second! I think I agree with you that it seems like women start to show earlier with their second pregnancy. I imagine it is kind of awkward at the moment, but at least you’re trying to look at it positively – besides, the sooner you show the sooner more people try to accommodate you (give you a seat on the bus, hold the door for you, etc.) and that’s always nice!

  10. i’m 10 weeks pregnant, soooo excited about it.I am showing already, when i tell people i’m 10 weeks they say ” Are u sure? u look like u 4 or 5 months” i feel like u Jana it really makes u look foolish and it’s embarassing. This is my first child. And PLEASE HELP I HAVE NAUSEA i haven’t had morning sickness at all (i know u girls are jealous) but nausea OMG it’ so bad. i’ve gotten used to eating lemon and salt, i only want to eat cuor or chillie foods, won’t these foods harm my baby?

  11. Hi Gazu – congrats on the pregnancy! Maybe you’re having twins since you’re growing so quickly ;-) A few of my co-workers and then my husband used to tease me about that when my belly began to grow faster than I had expected. I had a similar challenge with the nausea in the morning – not actually sick, just feeling sick. One lady once said her doctor suggested eating cheese before bed because cheese digests slowly, so your stomach won’t be as empty in the morning and you won’t feel as sick. It never really worked well for me, but I guess it’s worth a shot. Good luck to you!

  12. I am 5 weeks and this was a big surprise for me and my fiancee because we have children from previous marriages. We actually got pregnant 2 weeks after we got engaged. We are to be married Feb 17th and I will be 12 weeks and don’t want anyone to know until after we get married including my mother. My fiancee is not happy about this because our children our two 9-year old girls and a 12 year old boy. We are defintely starting all over.

Wish me luck to keep this a secret until after the wedding.

    Melissa

  13. Hi Melissa – congratulations on your new baby! It certainly sounds like this will be a big change in your life, but maybe this will be a good way to blend your two families. I certainly hope that the baby cooperates for the next 6 weeks and then you can spread the happy news. Good luck to you!

  14. Congats Mellisa……I’m 14 weeks now and like i said before very pregnant , my husband thinks we are having twins i would love twins, honestly i look like i’m 5 months and people ask how big will i look at 6 months if i am so big now. But i love my big belly whether it’ sone baby or twins as long as it’s a healthy child/children.

Ladies who are showing early the way to deal with it is to enjoy it and show it , put on ur nice tops and big belts and look as sexy as ever then no one will tell u (u having twins or too big)

I’m 22 and this is our first baby, but girls the way am showing …..

  15. Congratulations to all of you! I am having my 2nd child and I am 7 weeks with a pretty round stomach it looks as if I have bad gas or something. My Pants have gotten really tight and uncomfortable. But, I havent gained any weight. so who knows whats going. Ihave heard that you show sooner with the second child.

  16. Hi Gazu, I’m glad you are enjoying your pregnant belly – hopefully you’ll enjoy it throughout your pregnancy and you won’t get tired of it by the end. Good luck to you!

  17. Hi Tashia – congrats on your second! It sounds like you’ll be showing earlier than you expected, but that’s ok. I’m impressed that you haven’t gained weight, but your belly is rounding out. Maybe you’ll be one of those lucky women who gains very little weight with this pregnancy. Good luck you to you!

  18. Congrats to you all on your new pregnancies. I am now in my 6th week with my 3rd pregnancy. I can tell you from experience that you show earlier with each pregnancy. Your stomach muscles get stretched out with each pregnancy and the hormone relaxin that is released during the pregnancy helps to make them all relax. I look 5 months pregnant and haven’t gained any weight yet. I was sure with my 2nd that it must be twins but it wasn’t. I hope this helps. Good luck to you all.

  19. Congrats to everyone! I am only 6 weeks and I have a pooch! My clothes are tight as well… my husbands brothers are twins. I have always heard it skips a generations but my mom mentioned today because I already have a pooch it could be twins.. ??? any thoughts? could this just be bloating?

  20. Hi Bonnie – congrats on your 3rd! I hope you’ve got lots of comfy maternity clothes, since it sounds like your belly is going to need the space for a while ;-) The stretching and hormones does make sense, though I think at times it can be a little frustrating that our bodies don’t operate the way we want them to. Good luck to you, and I hope that you have a happy, healthy pregnancy and baby!

  21. Hi Jenna – congrats on your baby! It’s so exciting when your belly starts to grow! Quite a few people picked on me for a while about having twins, but I didn’t have the genetic history to back it up. I would imagine that by 12-16 weeks your doctor should be able to hear 2 heartbeats if there are 2 babies floating around in there, and of course the ultrasound will give you a much better idea. It’s sort of fun and scary to think about having twins, isn’t it? Good luck to you, and please keep us posted – I can’t wait to find out if you’ve got one or two in there!

  22. Hi everyone! Congrats to you all! I have a curiosity question and this seems like a good place to satisfy that. I am going on 12 weeks now and this is my second pregnancy. I never lost all the “insulation” from my first so it makes it seem like I’m showing quite a bit already. My belly is all round and hard though right underneith my boobs and I know the baby would have to be in my lower abdomen so, how is this possible? I’m not the only one who has noticed it. One person said maybe everything has gotten pushed up out of the way… Things like this boggle my mind… Thanx y’all!

  23. Hi Heidi – congrats on your second pregnancy! Of course your organs and what-not shift when the baby starts to take up more space, but I thought that happened a little later on, it seems like 12 weeks is kind of early for everything to shift. On the other hand, I can’t think of any other explanation. Have you asked your doctor about your interesting belly expansion? I would hope they have a good explanation for you. If they do, please let us know, I’m interested to find out what they think is going on!

  24. Thanx Sara :)
I haven’t had a chance to ask a doc yet. It just started a couplpe of weeks ago. But, I do have an appt. on Tuesday so I will fill you in :) Have a great weekend!!

  25. Hello all mothers! I am 6 weeks pregnant and this will be my third. I am very big but I don’t really think it is twins. I had my nausea from about 3 weeks until now and haven’t thrown up. I have done more gagging than anything else. I have been very constipated this week. My breast hurt more than my previous pregnancies and the back pain is crazy painful. But we will all get through this and for the new mothers it will get better!
    Love Yvonne

  26. Hi Yvonne – congrats on your 3rd! I’m glad you are keeping a positive perspective on all of those not-so-fun pregnancy symptoms. And you are right – you’ll get through the tough stuff, and then have a beautiful baby to show for it! Good luck to you, and please keep us posted on how you are doing!

  27. Well I am almost 11 weeks and its my first pregnancy and im not really showing at all. i can still wear the same clothes but they do seem to be getting a little tighter who knows. As for ur husbands and fiances what they think i agree most men seem to believe the pregnant women are more attractive. I can’t wait to find out what i will be having i want a little girl but it really doesn’t matter as long as my child is healthy. congrats to everyone and i wish u the best of luck with ur pregnancies.

  28. Hi Brooke – congrats on your pregnancy! Enjoy your flat belly while you can, though I’m sure you’ll also enjoy your pregnant belly as well :-) You’ve got a few more weeks to wait before you can find out if you’re having a boy or a girl – I hope that he or she cooperates when you have your ultrasound so that you can find out the sex. Good luck to you, and please keep us posted on how you are doing!

  29. Hey mommies!!!!
I am in my 6th week of pregnancy. This is my 2nd but I am having symptoms now that I don’t remember in my last. I feel very bloated already. I mean I know that it is not the baby already. I also don’t remember starting to grow out of my bras this early. If anyone else is experiencing this please fill me in.
Congrats and enjoy your growing belly!!!

  30. Just wanted to add a little note that I gained 43lbs in my first pregnancy and was into maternity clothes at 13 weeks. By 40 weeks my belly was quite the size.

  31. HaHa I am 13 weeks with my first and the only thing growing is my bum! You would swear thats where im carrying this baby!

  32. Hi Wendy – congrats on your second pregnancy! Sometimes I wish that pregnancy could be a little more predictable so that at least the second time around you’d have a better idea of what to expect, but since every round seems to have it’s own quirks, there are always surprises! It sounds like you had an impressive belly towards the end of your last pregnancy – I’ll be interested to hear what shape your belly decides to take this time around. Good luck, and please keep us posted!

  33. Hello everyone, I am 6 weeks along with my first pregnancy. And I too just feel way to big already, I haven’t seen the number on the scale move really, and I haven’t changed my eating, even less hungry now. But darn some of my clothes are really uncomfortable. My husband helped me pack away some of my work clothes that are just too snug, and bought me some less restrictive gear! I was just thinking that I was too early on to be looking like this. Glad to see that there are others like me out there :) Have my first appointment in two weeks. Thanks everyone for thier feedback!

  34. hi, i am pregnant for the 2nd time i am 19 weeks pregnant and not showing yet but i cant fit into any of my old clothes i just look like i am fat it has not gone hard yet but baby wriggling around inside me quite happily, the only thing that has changed is that my boobs have got bigger, i am usually a slim 10 weight 9st2 but weighed myself other day and i was 10 stone, the only clothes i can get into is maternity ones as my clothes dont fit buttons wont reach but i dont look like i have a preg belly yet people dont know i am prg till i tell them and i m nearly 5 mths now.

  35. Hey there newmum – congrats on your pregnancy! It’s kind of funny where our bodies decide to start expanding first, isn’t it? Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll have a cute little baby bump on your belly soon. Good luck to you!

  36. Hi Christine, congrats on your second pregnancy! I’m always amazed at how our bodies grow differently – even from pregnancy to pregnancy. It’s definitely frustrating to have to start wearing maternity clothes, and not have a belly yet to show off in them. Maybe you’ll be one of those moms whose belly seems to grow almost overnight. One day you’ll wake up and think, “hey, where did this come from?” Good luck to you, and please let us know how you are doing!

  37. wow, I am glad I found this page! I am 7 wks & 2 days, with my second. Yesterday my belly just seemed to pop out. I havent gained any weight, I actually lost 500g in the past week because lack of appetite becaue of nausea. I thought it was my imagination because all the books say that you don’t show that early. My pants that were loose & required a belt 3 days ago are now held up comfortably with my tummy! I am very overweight, by about 25kg/55lb, does that make a difference, I wonder?

  38. Hi Tracy – congrats on your second! It seems like the general consensus from women who have commented here at least, is that with second babies especially you seem to start showing much earlier. I suppose this would kind of make sense, as we are already stretched out from the first time around. I hope that your pregnancy goes well, and please keep us posted as to how you are doing!

  39. Let me tell you all something.. I feel you all on a lot of your comments! believe me.. I started showing at 10 weeks and people said “yeah right” you cant show yet but my doctor said sure you can when its your third bc your muscles and uterus are more relaxed. I am 15 weeks tomorrow and believe me I look 5 months!! They are going to let me know the sex of the baby (or try to on March 14th) but it maybe too early still but thats ok.. So dont believe that your not showing when you are especially if your on baby number 2 and above!! like me!! I wish you all luck!!

  40. oh I forgot to tell you.. if you are interested in a fun game to determine what your having go to obfocus.com my friend who works at a doctors office says her patients go on that site. and it said im having a boy! I have two girls now. one is 9 and the other is 6.. and if you want a pregnancy myspace type acct go to CafeMom.com.. I have a profile there. Its cool.. let me know how many of you go on there.. hit me up if you do..

  41. hey sara..
wow. we are in the same boat. lol i went to the maternity store to buy pants today but they have so many cute clothes now!! much better than when I had my first daughter 9 years ago and even better since my 2nd daughter 6 years ago. lol.. Im 15 weeks tomorrow and truly look exactly 5 months! maybe mines a boy I hope! take care

  42. Hi Tasha – congrats on your third! It would be exciting if you had a boy this time around, just to mix it up a little ;-) I’m nervous about having a second baby – I felt like I was showing too early on the first, so I can only imagine what I’m going to look like with the second! I’m glad you’re enjoying the new styles of maternity clothes – it’s always fun to update your wardrobe, even if it is to accommodate a little baby bump ;-) Take care, and please keep us posted on how you are doing!

  43. hi, this is my first pregnancy, i am 9 weeks along, and i was just wondering if it was normal to have days where you still dont feel quite pregnant? i am also not showing yet at all, is this ok?

  44. I am 5 weeks pregnant and showing like I am about 4-5 months. My belly button is even trying to pop. (Outie!, Yikes) Now this is my 3rd pregnancy, but I just have this feeling that it is twins. It is very uncomfortable to sit and bend over. Not to mention none of my pants fit anymore. Just to let you know, I normally wear a size 4. I have only gained 1 pound. What are your comments, twins or not? Doctor’s Appt at the end of month.

  45. Hi, I am 6 weeks this wednesday and have a showing belly as of the past couple of days. Twins and triplets both run in my family and his. I am very worried. I have a history of anorexia and when I found out i was pregnant 12 days ago, I weighed 91 lbs and this morning I weighed 99. I don’t know if I’ve gained a lot due to starting to eat for the first time or if I could be carrying more than one baby.

  46. Hi, I was glad to read about April who is only 5 wks. and looks 4/5 mos. This is #4 preg. I just had a preg. that began in Nov. that ended in miscarriage (d&C on 1/25). Maybe this is why, too. I gained 38 lbs. w/my both of my kids. I’m 5′6″ and didn’t even tell peo. till 5 mos. at work w/#1 and almost 4 mos. w/#2. I can’t believe my pants are already tight and my face looks awful from acne and fatigue from other 2 already! Arrrgh! As long as this one will be o.k. though, I’m GREAT!! Being in great health is what matters, if not in great clothes or appearances!!

  47. Hi,
I am six weeks pregnant with my second child and I am showing already!! I currently do not have any type of sickness, other than sore swollen breast, yet my belly is growing rapidly. My mother has a set of faternal twins and my grandmother has an identical twin. Could this be twins for me? What are your comments? My Doctor Appt is in the middle of April.

  48. Hi Genevieve – congratulations on your 4th!! I admire your energy to take care of 2 children, and be pregnant with another one. You’re right, your health and the baby’s health are the most important. I hope that everything goes smoothly this time – we’ll be rooting for you and the baby. Please keep us posted and let us know how things are going. Good luck!!

  49. Hi Shavon – congratulations on your second! I think it’s pretty tough to guess at this point whether or not you’re having twins. It seems to be a common theme on this site at least that women who are pregnant for the second, third, or even fourth time start expanding faster than they expected. On the other hand, you definitely have a history of twins in your family, so it’s not completely unlikely that you might have twins as well. I would hope that in a few weeks they’ll be able to hear a heartbeat (or two) and I also hope that you’ll post again and let us know how many babies you’ve got in there. Good luck!!

  50. Hi Sam, congratulations on your pregnancy! I think it is entirely normal to forget sometimes. I can remember going for hours at a time not remembering that there was someone growing inside me. It often hit me with a jolt when I remembered, and I sometimes felt guilty that I had forgotten. But remember that this is all new, and while your body is busy, it doesn’t always let your brain in on the activities. Once your belly expands, and your baby kicks you regularly, you’ll never forget – so no worries, that’s entirely normal, and if you can, enjoy being the parent-less you while you can, because you’ll miss that self once it’s gone!

  51. Hi April – congrats on your second!! Twins is a tough call – it seems like growing that much so soon would have to be twins. On the other hand, expanding faster seems to be pretty common in subsequent pregnancies. It is fun/scary to think about the possibility of twins, and I’m very curious to hear about your doctor’s appointment, so please keep us posted!!

  52. I am 10 weeks and i am already showing. i was worried because i wasn’t expecting it to pop out so quick. at least 4 months… this is my first pregnancy… also, i have placenta previa. is there anything i should be worried about?

  53. I am so glad to have found this webpage. This will be my fourth child (fifth pregnancy), and at five weeks I think I look obviously pregnant. Since losing our first in a miscarriage, I am always reluctant to tell too many people early on, but unfortunately it’s not always possible to keep it a secret! I usually have quite severe morning sickness for several months, but with a 4, 3 and 18 month old, I’m praying that things won’t be too bad this time! Best of luck to everyone for their pregnancies and births.

  54. Hey, I am 12 weeks pregnant with my third child. I still had quit a bit of a gut from my first two when I found out I was pregnant again. My lower stomach is already hard and when I try to wear my regualr clothes my stomach starts cramping. I know all about showing! People think Im alot farther along because of the extra skin I had leftover from the first two. Im tired all the time and my stomach is always stretching. Bending over is a joke! I cant believe how different each pregnancy can be.

  55. Hello everyone, I am about 5 weeks (first baby)…… I have a belly now!!! It is hard and fluctuates in size, but still visible. Always been trim with a flat stomach. Is it mostly water or actual weight? Is it normal to be showing so soon???? I didn’t think you showed until 3 months ……….

  56. I am only going on 5 weeks, but already look like I’m 2 months. Is this normal? This is my second pregnancy. We all just want a normal and happy pregnancy, so of course we are going to be concerned at every little thing. ya know? Also, I have had no symtoms except for my breast, they have been a little tender especially around the nipple.
Congrats to everyone and I hope everything goes great for you all!

  57. Hi. I’m new to this. I just found out I am 11 weeks pregnant with my second childs. I was having some bleeding, so I assumed that I was having periods. Over the past week, I have not been able to fit into my clothes. My belly just “popped out.” With my first, I didn’t “pop” until about five months. Is this normal the second time around? Does anyone know why?

Another question: my husband and i weren’t trying to get pregnant, so I wasn’t taking prenatals. Since i found out 11 weeks into the game, I’m really worried about neural tube defects. My first child was fine, but then again, I started taking prenatals the minute we decided to start trying. Any thoughts?

  58. Hi, my first post! I am pregnant with my 6th child. And I promise you, I can feel my uterus and I swear I felt the baby ‘flutter’ the other day. My hub thinks I am crazy and he thinks that I am just imagining things. But it is true. I read that some women, after having multiple births, can actually feel the baby ‘flutter’ as early as six weeks.

I am currently 7 weeks pregnant and my clothing is tight and I have a pouch! I thought it was too early to show, but I remembered my other baby boys (all five boys), I really started showing early with my 5th.

  59. Hello ladies, this is my first post. I’m 10 weeks with my third and besides snug pants and enormous boobs!!!! I’m still fitting in my old clothes everything is just a lot tighter top and bottom. Is my chest growth going to slow down soon? or do I have to start thinking about F-cups?
I’m a normal sized girl size 8, 38 c bras but I’m already in double DD’s ? anybody else with this same problem?
Husband is very happy with it though!!
    Love Marieka.

  60. WELL FIRST I WANNA SAY CONGRATS TO ALL OF YOU EXPECTING FAMILYS , WELL I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT YES I AGREE THAT YOU DO GROW FASTER WITH YOUR SECOND PREGNANCY BUT BELIEVE ME YOU GROW EVEN FASTER WITH YOUR THIRD I’M ONLY 4 WEEKS AND 6 DAYS WITH MY 3 AND I LOOK LIKE IM 4-5 MONTHS BUT , THESE PREGANCYS HAVE BEEN PRETTY CLOSE TOGETHER I’M 24 AND MY FIRST DAUGTER IS 2 ,MY AND MY SECOND IS 10 MONTHS

  61. COngratulations to everybody.

I was a little anxious about how much weight I gained before I realized that I was pregnant and then a friend commented today on how huge my stomach was even though I’m only 12 weeks pregnant with my first. Add to that, I went through 4 pairs of pants today before I found one that fit. I got home today and just stared at my stomach. It really does look big. When did that happen?
Am I supposed to be outgrowing my clothes so soon? No other part of me seems to be growing but my stomach. My husband thinks my boobs have grown but I don’t think so.

  62. I am having the same problems with the getting big early. I am only 7 weeks and wearing maternity clothes already. My daughter will be 2 in October. We are scared to death that it is going to be twins. My cousin is getting ready to have a set, my husband’s great-grandmother had 3 sets and 3 of my grandmother’s brothers and sisters each had a set. I go to the doctor today and I am very nervous! I hope it’s only one!

  63. Hi everyone,
    Congrats to all.
I am 12 weeks pregnant and going to have to go shopping for maternity clothes this week as all my trs are soooo tight. Is it normal to show at 12 weeks with first?
It feels really strange and too early but if its more comfortable it has to be done.
    Vena

  64. I kinda just have to laugh, I’m 10 weeks with my first and feel like a bloated cow. I was hoping just to slip into big sweaters until I was really showing, however the weather (different every 5 minutes in WI) decided to be 90 degrees this weekend and we’re going camping with all of our friends, though they know, it doesn’t make me feel any better that i look like a hefer! LoL

  65. Hello Ladies! Congratulations to everyone having babies!! I am 5WKS and my jeans that fit me last month I have to unbutton and unzip just to feel comfortable and able to breathe.

I had my daughter 20yrs ago Oct 30th. I had a miscarriage almost 4months into the pregnancy and I feel like I’m further along then what I really am. My boods are bigger and they Hurrrrrt!

I am due June 20th 2008! Anyway goodluck and God Bless!

  66. I AM ABOUT 4 WEEKS PREGNANT AND THIS IS MY SECOND PREGNANCY. LATELY IVE NOTICED THAT MY STOMACH HAS BEEN FEELING REALLY BLOATED AND IT LOOKS REALLY BIG… IS THIS NORMAL?

  67. Hi All

I’m 4 weeks with my 2nd, I have a daughter aged 8. I too am feeling ‘flutters’ low in my stomach on the left side and I am also getting a belly lol. My boobs are sooooo sore, I need to wee all the time and I already feel exhausted lol. My boyfriend is a twin….so who knows lol maybe there’s two in there…I’ll keep ya posted xx

  68. Hi Donna – congrats on your second! It sounds like that little one (or two!) is pretty strong for his or her age. Is your daughter excited about having a younger sibling around? Definitely keep us posted – I’m interested to know whether or not you’re having twins. Good luck!

  69. well im qoinq to be 16weeks in 2days. i’ve been showinq since i was 10weeks && im huqe alredy. i am havinq my first child. ive never been a skinny qirl so i think thats it. the fatter part of my stomach (which im not so proud of) is qettinq alittle harder everyday. but the part under my breast && to the middle of my stomach is hard. if you feel underneath my stomach pushinq up its hard and round alredy. i know also that im havinq one baby.(no twins) but my child is 2 to 3 days biqqer than it should be. could that be why i’ve been qettinq biq quick?

  70. Hi Bella – congrats on your baby! I agree that it is disconcerting to start growing out so early into a pregnancy. I also noted that my stomach higher up felt hard, which is strange since we know that the baby is still hanging out much much lower down near the pelvis. It’s weird how things start to shift in there once a baby comes along. Good luck, and enjoy the second trimester!

  71. Hi ladies and first of I’ll like to say congrats to all of you. I’m in my 7th week and I’ve already gone from an Acup to a Bcup and look as if I’m 4 months. It is my 3rd but is this right? most of all my size 8 and 10 cloths feel tight my breasts are fuller and very tender to touch and always seem to be full of wind. what is going on? somebody… anybody. Could i be having twins?.

  72. Hi Joanna – congrats on your 3rd – I admire your energy! It sounds like you are expanding quickly this time around. I know when I started to grow earlier than expected, I started to worry about twins as well. Luckily, I’m only growing one! If you’re still able to fit into your pre-pregnancy clothes, I wouldn’t panic too much yet. In a few weeks you’ll visit your doctor and hopefully just hear that one little heartbeat. However, anyone in your family has a history of twins, perhaps you are brewing more than one… I think the waiting part is the most agonizing. Good luck, and please keep us posted!
