Ahh, That Hair…

I’m sure you’ve noticed from the pictures, and for those of you who have met Xander, his hair is a little crazy. Since we brought him home and began washing his hair, we’ve been fighting with it.
Whenever it’s wet, it stays where it’s supposed to - parted in the middle or on a side. But, as soon as it dries, it poofs straight up. Whenever someone meets Xander for the first time, inevitably their first comment is “oh, look at that hair!”
Over Christmas break I finally gave up fighting with Xander’s hair and decided to brush it the way that it flows - all straight forward. The nurse in the hospital did this, and although I think it looks fine, Zach thinks it looks dorky. Unfortunately for Zach, this is the only style that doesn’t create a crazy poof on the top of Xander’s head, so dorky or not, this is his style until he gets older and we can hopefully do something else with it

I am still really enjoying your blog…that picture of Xander on the bottom is soooo cute!! He face looks so much like yours…with those big blue eyes! And I’m loving all the hairdo’s…
It was great to see you over Christmas…I’m sure next time I see Xander he will be much bigger! So I will continue to read about you guys and see him grow up…

I’m glad you’re still enjoying the blog. It was wonderful to see you over Christmas as well! Xander is definitely growing “like a weed”. If you come back this summer I’m sure he’ll be “huge” and maybe close to walking and/or talking!
