Parker Week 8 – The Magic Changing Table…

Sleepy Baby...
The changing table in our house appears to have some sort of magic ability in it to put Parker to sleep. When he is fussy, the changing table will calm him. If we buckle him onto it and take a shower, we often get out to find him fast asleep. Parker has taken more than one morning nap on that changing table. When Xander takes a bath in the evening, Parker often naps on the changing table. If I’m working on laundry, sometimes Parker naps on the changing table. I have no explanation for what is so special about this spot. The pad is curved, but he is tucked into plenty of curved or walled spaces and they don’t all have this effect. Whatever the reason, the changing table is a happy place for Parker, and regardless of why, we certainly appreciate it’s magical powers!
I get where he’s coming from. When I’m feeling sleepy, I often crawl onto Samantha’s changing table and take a nap.
Maybe you should just put a bunch of changing pads all over the house so maybe he’ll fall asleep somewhere else!
